PRODUCT SUMMARY   

EasyFind is a "PIN" mapping package. It primarily allows a user to map a database by locating "Pins" for each record in that database. Think of EasyFind as a digital replacement for the old office wall map with all the different coloured "Pins" for customers, outlets or competitors. EasyFind allows a user to drop in their address or contact database and create a map showing where their clients are coming from.

FEATURES   

• Simplicity of Use

  The primary key feature in EasyFind is its ability to create a map in a minimum number of steps, without the need for the user to be a demographer or cartographer

• Map MS Access 2 databases

  EasyMap has an inbuilt MS Access database engine. This means you can map native Access databases without the need to import the data.

• Automatically place customers on a map

  EasyFind uses a local Melway or UBD street directory index to find your customers. In exactly the same way you look up a customer address in a street directory to go an visit them, EasyFind does this electronically. Once found EasyFind gives the customer database record a Longitude and Latitude value so they can be displayed in a map. EasyFind even helps you find customers in streets or suburbs that are misspelt in your database by having an inbuilt spell checker based on the street directory index.

• Import your data from ASCII, Access, dBASE, Foxbase, Paradox, Lotus, Excel

  No worries about getting your customer database into EasyFind. If your information is already in MS Access 2.0 format we can map it directly with no import required at all.

• Import map data into EasyFind from MapInfo MID/MIF format files using our supplied utility program

  Use the existing maps you have drawn in MapInfo within EasyFind.(Subject to copyright)

  Once you have created your map you may print directly form EasyFind, save it as a bitmap for later use or copy and paste form the clipboard into a Word Processor document.

With EasyFind you can display your customer database geographically. You can then select them by either clicking on the customers or performing a radius search. USE EXISTING RESOURCES   

EasyFind comes with a Utility program to allow users to import MapInfo MID/MIF format files. Most suppliers of digital map data can supply product in this format. If an organisation already has an in-house version of a mapping product but they wish to disperse a cheaper product to more users, EasyFind will fill that need very well.

This version of EasyFind comes with the one index from either the UBD or Melways for a capital city in Australia, Major Arterial roads and Towns by State map and our utility for importing MapInfo interchange files.

EasyFind State Additional Index(s) and Map(s)

The standard version of EasyFind comes with the one index from either the UBD or Melways for a capital city in Australia. There is a four months free upgrade policy on the standard index files. Additional index's and map files can be downloaded from this site.

EasyFind National Version

This version of EasyFind is the same as the Single State Version, however, it comes with all the available state Indexes and Maps.  The capital city's provided with this version are Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.   Major Arterial roads and Towns by State map and our utility for importing MapInfo interchange files are also included.
